Plan the trade before you place it

Charting sites are built to show prices. These tools are built to answer the questions you have before you press buy: how much to buy, what you keep after costs, how often you need to be right, and how bad a normal losing streak can get. They share one set of formulas, so a plan made on the chart can be stress-tested in the Risk Lab and logged in the Journal without retyping anything.

Three steps

  1. Chart and plan. Open Advanced Charts or the Trade Planner, place a long or short position, and drag the entry, stop and target.
  2. Stress-test. Press “Simulate 200 trades” to see the range of outcomes in the Risk Lab.
  3. Record. Save the plan to your Journal and add the exit when the trade closes.

Honest data

Crypto prices come live from Binance’s public market data. Forex uses the European Central Bank’s daily reference rates. Stocks appear only when a licensed feed is connected, or when you open your own CSV file. Every chart is labelled with its source and timing, and no tool shows a made-up price.
