Global markets: crypto heatmap, movers and forex rates
Live crypto moves and the latest European Central Bank reference rates in one view. Every number is from a named public source.
What is on this page
A quick, honest view of global markets from free public sources. The crypto heatmap sizes each tile by the value traded in the last 24 hours and colours it by the 24-hour change, so the biggest and busiest markets stand out. The movers table can be sorted by any column. The currency strength bars and forex table use the European Central Bank’s daily reference rates. Click any symbol to open it in Advanced Charts.
How to read the heatmap
Green tiles rose over the last 24 hours, red tiles fell, and the deeper the colour the larger the move, up to about 6%. Tile size is traded value, not market capitalisation: a coin with a smaller market value can have a bigger tile on a busy day. A 24-hour window is rolling, so it does not reset at midnight in any time zone.
Reference rates are not dealing prices
The ECB fixes one rate per currency each working day. Banks and brokers quote their own bid and ask prices around the market all day, plus a spread. Use the reference rates to convert results into your home currency or compare days, and use your broker’s quotes for anything you trade.
Time zones
Crypto trades every day and every hour. Forex reference rates are dated in Frankfurt time. To see when stock exchanges around the world open and close in your own time, use the world market hours clock.
Frequently asked questions
Where do the crypto numbers come from?
From Binance’s public market-data service: the last price, the 24-hour high and low, the change over a rolling 24 hours, and the value traded in USDT. They refresh every 30 seconds while the page is open.
Why does the forex table not move during the day?
It shows the European Central Bank’s reference rates, published once per working day at about 16:00 CET. They are good for conversions and daily comparisons, not for timing trades.
How is currency strength calculated?
For each currency, the change in its value against every other currency in the group between the last two ECB publications is averaged. A positive score means it gained against the group on average.
Why are stocks not listed?
Stock exchanges license their prices. TradeProfy will show stocks once a licensed feed is connected, and does not publish estimated or copied prices in the meantime.
